JoesJuice

Joe’s Juice Aiptasia Remover (often sold as Joe’s Juice Aiptasia Eliminator) is a reef aquarium treatment used to kill Aiptasia anemones, which are pest anemones that spread quickly and sting corals. It’s a thick, calcium-based paste that is injected directly onto the Aiptasia, causing it to close and ingest the mixture. Once consumed, it typically kills the anemone within minutes to hours. How it works: You turn off flow in the tank Apply the paste directly into the Aiptasia mouth using a syringe The Aiptasia reacts like it’s food, closes up, and consumes it The high-pH/calcium formulation destroys the tissue internally Key benefits: Fast Aiptasia elimination (often same-day results) Targeted application (doesn’t need to dose whole tank) Reef-safe when used correctly (doesn’t harm corals or fish nearby if applied carefully) Works on glass, rock, and overflow areas Important notes: Do not overfeed it to the Aiptasia—small amounts work best If disturbed, Aiptasia can release spores and spread, so precision matters Turn off pumps during application to prevent spread Repeated treatments may be needed for larger infestations
