Epiphone Joan Jett Olympic Special - Vintage Sunburst

Epiphone Joan Jett Olympic Special - Vintage Sunburst The Epiphone Joan Jett Olympic Special is a no-nonsense, high-octane tone machine built to honor one of the most iconic figures in rock 'n' roll history. Inspired by Joan Jett’s beloved stage-tested Epiphone Olympic Special, this stripped-down guitar is engineered for players who crave raw output, simple controls, and unmistakable punk attitude. Its lightweight, asymmetrical double-cutaway mahogany body delivers rich resonance, natural sustain, and effortless access to every single fret. Paired with a set mahogany neck featuring a fast Olympic Special profile and a smooth rosewood fretboard, this guitar offers a playing experience that feels instantly familiar and completely dialed in. Underneath the hood, this signature rocker cuts out the fluff to give you pure, unadulterated tone. A single PowerHammer PRO humbucker mounted in the bridge position pushes out aggressive midrange bite and crunch that effortlessly cuts through any mix. The simple electronics layout—consisting of a single master volume knob fitted with a rubber-grip speed dial and a dedicated on/off kill switch toggle—lets you execute staccato stutter effects and quick silences mid-performance. It’s a pitch-perfect homage to the rebellious energy Joan Jett brought to the stage with The Runaways and The Blackhearts. Whether you’re riffing through punk anthems or plugging straight into a dimed tube amp, the Joan Jett Olympic Special is built to deliver pure rock power without compromise.
