PRODUCT DESCRIPTION: Jo Malone Myrrh & Tonka belongs to the prestigious Cologne Intense collection, launched in 2017 under the creative direction of perfumer Mathilde Bijaoui. This warm, resinous fragrance has earned a devoted following among both men and women who appreciate its addictive quality and sophisticated depth. The Scent Experience Myrrh forms the aromatic backbone of this composition, lending its distinctive resinous, slightly smoky character. This ancient ingredient brings complexity and richness that feels both timeless and modern. Tonka bean provides creamy sweetness with hints of vanilla and almond, creating an irresistible warmth that draws people closer. The interplay between these two primary notes produces a scent that feels intimate and comforting without being cloying. Additional supporting notes round out the composition, adding nuance and preventing the fragrance from becoming one-dimensional. The result is a cologne that wears beautifully throughout the day, evolving subtly as it interacts with your skin chemistry. Longevity & Projection As part of the Cologne Intense line, Myrrh & Tonka by Jo Malone offers enhanced performance compared to traditional eau de cologne formulations. Expect 6-8 hours of wear time with moderate projection during the first few hours. The sillage remains elegant and approachable rather than overwhelming—a signature characteristic of Jo Malone fragrances. Application Guidelines Spray on pulse points where body heat will amplify the warm notes. The neck, wrists, and inner elbows work particularly well. This unboxed presentation offers authentic Jo Malone quality at an accessible price point, making it easier to wear this luxurious scent daily. Who Should Wear This Anyone seeking a truly unisex warm fragrance Fall and winter wear when cozy scents feel most appropriate Evening events and intimate gatherings Those who appreciate resinous, gourmand-leaning compositions Fans of niche fragrances with sophisticated simplicity Layering enthusiasts looking for a rich base scent The 3.4 oz bottle provides excellent value, especially in the unboxed format.
