Why Grip Strength Matters in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu & Judo In grappling sports like Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) and Judo, your hands are your primary point of contact. Standard dumbbells and pull-up bars don't train the pinching and tearing mechanics unique to fabric gripping. JitsGrips forces your hands to engage the exact friction and leverage points used when controlling an opponent's sleeve or lapel, resulting in functional mat strength. Can I use this with my existing resistance bands? Yes. The universal attachment design allows you to seamlessly clip or loop the handles onto standard resistance bands, cable crossover systems, or pull-up stations.
