Jin Mu Dan White Tea

This is for those looking for a new white tea flavor.  This tea is majority made from the Jin Mu Dan cultivar. This cultivar is most commonly used for yan cha, can be used for red tea, but in this case is used for white tea. The owner took this rare white tea and added some old tree heirloom trees to add some complexity to the flavor. The result is a white tea that at first may be a bit strange but it grows on you.  This tea has soft vegetal notes like artichoke or green apple. The body is smooth, thick and clean with a bit of texture coming from the old trees.  This is a must try for all white tea heads who want to expand their understanding of possible flavors.
