Edmonds Guitars - 2021 D-18 - Shade Top - Used

This beautiful, used, D-18 dates to 2021 and comes to us from the shop of sought after luthier Jimmy Edmonds of Galax, Virgina. Featuring an Adirondack Spruce top over Honduran Mahogany back and sides, this is the sort of big sounding Mahogany dread that projects well in a bluegrass jam, but has the string response to also back off and enjoy playing solo fiddle tunes as well. Here with a punchy midrange and a clear, articulate high-end, there is very minor playwear and a few minor scratches to the headstock veneer. The finish has begun to sink into the grain of the wood, which we love to see. Tasteful upgrades include the gorgeous inlays, and tortoise-style rosette which matches the custom pickguard and a beautiful burst finish. Includes Guardian Hardshell case. 14-Fret Dreadnought Body with Hide Glue construction Adirondack Spruce top with Tortoise-style pickguard and Rosette Honduran Mahogany back and sides Varnish Sunburst finish Tortoise-style binding 25.4" scale length Mahogany neck Truss Rod Ebony fingerboard Gold Evo Fret wire 1 23/32" nut width, bone Bone cut-through saddle with 2 1/4" string spacing Ebony belly-style bridge Nickel Waverly tuners Guardian Hardshell case Serial#: 3382021
