Jimmy Clewes Quick Releases are designed so that with a 1/4 turn you can insert or remove your tool from the handle. With these quick releases you will never have to run around the shop looking for an Allen wrench. Quick Releases are designed to be used with round shanked tools ONLY. Square or rectangle shanks will NOT work in them. For Square or Rectangle shanked tools use Jimmy Clewes Handle Adapters or Doug Thompson's Handle Adapters.
