Made from heat-treated chrome vanadium steel, the device combines a high leverage design with induction-hardened cutting edges to support heavy-duty use across bolts, nails, standard wire, and high-strength wire. These high leverage lineman's pliers feature an integrated fish tape puller that handles 1/8-inch to 1/4-inch steel fish tape while helping prevent tape damage. A built-in crimper supports work with non-insulated connectors, lugs, and terminals, giving the tool added versatility for field applications. Cross-hatched knurled jaws help maintain a firm grip on materials, while the rivet design promotes smooth movement and reduces side-play during repeated use. The 3/4-inch cutter length, 1-19/32-inch jaw length, and 5/8-inch jaw thickness provide a practical balance of reach, strength, and control for common cutting and handling tasks. Thick plastic-dipped handles add comfort during extended use and help reduce vibration while cutting. This tool offers efficient performance in a single professional-grade design, making The Jonard Tools JIC-685 Lineman Pliers a practical choice for electrical work.
