JHS Morning Glory Clean

JHS Morning Glory Clean The JHS Morning Glory Clean is a refined evolution of the Morning Glory circuit, redesigned to offer a parallel clean blend alongside the familiar Bluesbreaker-style overdrive foundation. Rather than modifying the existing circuit, this version was rebuilt to preserve pick attack, dynamics, and low-end content while allowing controlled drive to be layered in as needed. A studio-grade parallel clean path, higher headroom power architecture, and carefully tuned controls make this pedal well suited as a first-stage drive, clean boost, or tone-shaping foundation. The clean signal remains untouched by the tone circuit, allowing the overdrive character and the original instrument response to coexist naturally. Highlights Parallel clean blend integrated directly into the circuit design Bluesbreaker-style overdrive topology with expanded headroom ±9V dual-supply architecture for increased dynamic range Clean signal remains unaffected by tone control Works as overdrive, clean boost, or always-on tone foundation Specifications Body Enclosure Size: 2.6" x 4.8" x 1.6" Chassis: Metal enclosure Hardware Jacks: Top-mounted Electronics Circuit Type: Analog overdrive with parallel clean blend Power Supply: 9V DC, center-negative Power Architecture: ±9V dual supply Current Draw: 60 mA Controls: Volume: Overall output level via post-blend active boost Clean: Blends between original Morning Glory drive and pure clean signal Drive: Controls overdrive saturation Tone: Adjusts overdrive path only Miscellaneous Use as Clean Boost: Supported with Clean fully clockwise Stacking: Designed for use before or after other gain pedals Power Notes: Do not exceed 9V DC Why Buy from Tone Shop Guitars?
