Jeu De Dés 3 Candle Holder

The Woud Jeu de dés 3 Candle Holder is the showstopper of this marble collection - the largest and most versatile piece that gives you three completely different lighting options in one sculptural block. Designer Oleg Pugachev carved out precise geometric openings for a tea light, taper candle, and pillar candle, so you can choose everything from subtle ambient lighting to dramatic focal illumination just by rotating this solid marble piece. At 0.9 pounds, it has real presence on a table or shelf, and the substantial weight means it won't slide around when you're repositioning it for different candle configurations. Available in three stunning natural marble finishes - deep black, warm brown, and that really striking green - each piece showcases unique stone patterns that make every candle holder completely individual. What makes the size 3 particularly compelling is how it transforms completely depending on which orientation you choose. Flip it to show the pillar candle opening and you get this bold, dramatic flame that can anchor an entire room's lighting scheme. Rotate to the taper candle position for elegant dinner table illumination, or use the tea light opening for gentle accent lighting that doesn't overpower conversation. The different sized cutouts create interesting shadows and light patterns as the candles burn, and the marble's natural heat resistance means it handles even larger pillar candles safely. When grouped with the smaller Jeu de dés sizes, the size 3 becomes the natural centerpiece that gives weight and visual interest to your arrangement, creating this modern sculptural landscape that works just as well unlit as it does with flames dancing. Woud operates from Denmark with founders Mia and Torben Koed committed to showcasing how international designers interpret Scandinavian design principles, and Oleg Pugachev's work exemplifies this global approach perfectly. Based in Berlin and working primarily through 3D design software, Pugachev explores complex geometric relationships that balance material properties with functional requirements - his philosophy that design emerges from the interplay of material, function, technology, and aesthetics resonates throughout the entire Jeu de dés collection. Since establishing his studio in 2015, Pugachev has focused on creating objects that invite interaction rather than passive appreciation, which aligns with Woud's mission to produce furniture and accessories that enhance daily rituals through thoughtful, hands-on design that feels both contemporary and timeless.
