Jet Black Velvet Underglaze is a cool black color, smooth and velvety at cone 05, darkens at cone 5, and becomes darkest black and slightly glossy at cone 10. A clear glaze deepens and accentuates the underglaze significantly at any temperature. Safety Warning Tableware producers must test all finished ware to establish dinnerware status, due to possible variations in firing temperature and contamination.
