Jericho Bay Lobster Skiff - STUDY PLAN -

Single Study Plans are Only Available as Digital Downloads Designed by Joel White. Designed by Joel White, the original boat was built plank-on-frame by Jimmy Steele (of Peapod fame), but no plans were ever drawn--until now. Tom Hill and Eric Dow have taken lines off the original boat and Tom built the prototype and has drawn a very detailed set of plans for strip construction, including full-sized mold patterns (so no lofting is required). LOA: 15'6" Beam: 5' 2 1/2" Power: 15-20 hp outboard. (shortshaft) Weight: 400 lbs.  Plans include 15 sheets, plus 1 page of additional notes from the designer.     ———————————————————— “Your downloads are ready” will be the subject line of an email you’ll receive from us—once we’ve processed your digital order. That email has the link to click, so you can then download the file. This isn't an "instant" process, so if we're asleep, you may need to wait for regular business hours for us to process the order. Although we are quite timely, we may not be processing on weekends & holidays.        Here's a video on how the original was developed including interviews with Aaron Porter and Tom Hill. Plus you'll see this pretty boat in action. And another getting the hull together by the folks in Saginaw Bay, at the sbcsa.org: Take a look at this video (7+ minutes) showing a crazy nice Jericho Bay, built by Shearline Boatworks of Morehead City, North Carolina: The Road to a Jericho.
