Jelly Jam

For Block Nine, the Pacific Sea Nettle jellyfish floats in the waves, tentacles trailing behind. Join all twelve “Stitches of the Sea” blocks at the end of the year for an heirloom art piece, or just use a single block for your own project inspiration! These incredible works of art are rendered in colorful thread and skillfully blended to produce the most artistic machine embroidery designs on the web. Then, they are quilted with tiny, linework scenes in the background. Fully tested, you'll get the same results at home. Two ways to stitch-a-long... Quilted In The Hoop design includes the Pacific Sea Nettle Jellyfish with the quilted background, or just buy the Pacific Sea Nettle Jellyfish itself. Quilted In The Hoop The block is embroidered then completely quilted in the hoop. The collection includes 5", 6", 7" and 8" quilt blocks which you can stitch either all-in-the-hoop (freestanding with satin stitched edging, below) or quilt-as-you-go, (blocks are machine and hand stitched together and uses the satin stitch just as decorative element.) Complete, photo instructions and a color chart are included to make both styles. Note that the freestanding pieces are round and cannot be stitched together into a quilt. Combine any number of blocks, or use them for a single project of your own design. Embroidery design only For a simple embroidery design that will really make a splash, it is also available as a simple embroidery design with just a color chart for your own use. Four sizes are included for 5x7 hoops and up. View the color charts and stitch counts for the block or Jellyfish. Like this block?  View other blocks in the series!
