The verdict of the jury of the "Communique Awards" 2019 states, among other things: "Everyone is Different was a sure-fire winner! The book is inclusive, user-friendly and written with great empathy ... The illustrations are engaging and support the telling of the story and - more importantly - the facts are correct. It is easy to imagine this book finding a place as a teaching tool in schools or with parents. Simple but lively explanations will increase understanding and empathy in school classes and potentially reduce bullying."
