The Bitch (1979 Joan Collins/Story by Jackie Collins)

The Bitch (1979) Adapted from Jackie Collins’ scandalous novel, The Bitch (rated R) follows London nightclub owner Fontaine Khaled — played to perfection by Joan Collins — as she schemes, seduces, and sashays her way through the city’s glittering late-’70s nightlife. With a thumping disco soundtrack, lavish costumes, and unapologetic sexuality, it’s a time capsule of hedonistic excess. Reviled by critics but adored by fans, The Bitch became a cult classic — and cemented Joan Collins as a queer icon of camp, confidence, and couture.
