Pro Series II™ Jayhawk

The Estes Pro Series II™ Jayhawk is a meticulously crafted 1:5.6 scale model of the iconic Beechcraft AQM-37A—a supersonic Navy target drone that once challenged the skill of jet pilots in live-fire exercises. Known for reaching speeds of Mach 4 and soaring to altitudes beyond 100,000 feet, the original Jayhawk played a critical role in military training. Now, model rocketry experts can recreate that high-stakes energy in the field, complete with striking details and authentic markings. Engineered for Precision and Power Designed for expert-level builders, the Jayhawk rocket kit features high-quality components like balsa wood fins and laser-cut plywood centering rings for structural strength and aerodynamic precision. It includes both launch lugs and rail buttons, giving you the flexibility to launch from a 1/4" rod or a rail system. With a sleek profile and bright orange color, it’s not just a rocket—it’s a high-performance tribute to military aviation history. Soar High with Confidence Powered by Pro Series II 29 mm engines, the Jayhawk can reach projected altitudes of up to 900 feet on an F15-4 engine. The kit includes a durable 30-inch nylon parachute to ensure a smooth recovery and help protect its aerodynamic fins during landing. Whether you're displaying it or flying it, this rocket delivers both form and function. Gear Up for a Pro-Level Mission As part of the Pro Series II line, the Jayhawk is recommended for ages 18+ and requires advanced assembly skills. Launch equipment, engines, starters, and recovery wadding are sold separately. Be sure to prepare accordingly for this challenging and rewarding build. With corrected scale dimensions and a host of premium features, the Jayhawk is a must-have for rocketeers who crave history, accuracy, and altitude.
