Jay Scotts Granda Fiberglass Rectangular Planter Box - 48"L x 24"W x 24"H

Granada Wide Rectangular Fiberglass Planter Box Flawless Construction. Lightweight Architecture. Volumetric Scale. Establish stable, modern structural green perimeters with industrial refinement. The Jay Scotts Granada 36-Inch Wide Rectangular Fiberglass Planter Box is a premier architectural landscape asset engineered to anchor sophisticated layouts with clean geometric lines. Spanning 36 inches in length, featuring an extra-wide 24-inch profile, and standing a balanced 24 inches tall, this container offers a substantial double-cube cross-section that provides immense soil-media capacity. Purpose-built for luxury private estates, boutique hotel lobbies, high-traffic corporate courtyards, open-air resort terraces, and high-end commercial pathways, the Granada series seamlessly bridges the gap between sculptural minimalism and massive botanical versatility. Hand-finished to order in the United States from premium-tier industrial composites, it provides the elite structural baseline necessary to design stunning privacy screens, define complex outdoor lounge areas, and elevate your architectural projects. Key Architectural & Performance Features Massive True-Cubic Soil Volume Unlike standard narrow window boxes or shallow troughs, the Granada Wide series is engineered with a uniform 2-foot width paired with a 2-foot height. This expansive layout yields a tremendous interior cavity that easily holds heavy, dense soil compositions or up to six 10-inch commercial grow pots. It provides critical thermodynamic root insulation and massive structural anchoring potential, allowing you to confidently plant large ornamental trees, structured privacy hedges, or deep-root mixed vegetation clusters that weaker containers cannot support. Premium Commercial-Grade Fiberglass Composition While traditional concrete, cast stone, or metal planter alternatives are excessively heavy, highly brittle, and prone to catastrophic cracking or rapid rust corrosion, Jay Scotts molds the Granada from premium high-density fiberglass. This industrial composite offers an extraordinary strength-to-weight ratio. The unibody framework remains exceptionally light at only 42 pounds for effortless manual site positioning and alignment prior to filling, yet transitions into an unyielding, shatterproof anchor once fully loaded with root media. Hand-Applied Automotive-Grade Coating System Every single Granada vessel is meticulously precision-inspected, custom hand-painted with commercial-grade marine automotive topcoats, and allowed to cure within our premier U.S. facilities. This premium finish chemically fuses with the underlying fiberglass structure, actively repelling intense midday sun fading, seasonal chalking, chipping, and blistering. It effortlessly preserves its showroom-fresh finish through sub-zero winter freeze-thaw cycles and high-humidity coastal saltwater environments alike. Tailor-Made Architectural Color Palette Coordinate seamlessly with any property branding style guide or luxury residential theme. Choose from over 20 hand-painted finishes, ranging from subtle contemporary neutrals (Matte White, Matte Charcoal, Soft Gray) to grounding earthy hues (Sandstone, Terracotta) and bold architectural statement finishes (Brushed Bronze, Metallic Gunmetal, Deep Navy). Because each planter is custom painted-to-order, it integrates flawlessly with contemporary, traditional, and transitional aesthetics. Operational Suitability & Design Placement Guidance The Granada 36" Wide Planter operates seamlessly as an organic spatial zoning device for high-end landscape layouts. It is highly optimized for framing open-air resort pool zones, dividing outdoor restaurant seating, flanking grand entryway thresholds, or establishing clean living partitions along windy rooftop gardens. It arrives fully prepared to satisfy specific internal or external project requirements. PLACEMENT AND WEATHER CONFIGURATION NOTE: For clean, mess-free indoor deployment over sensitive corporate flooring, luxury carpets, or hotel foyers, utilize the "No Drainage" configuration. For outdoor open plazas, exposed decks, or garden pathways, ensure the "Pre-Drilled" drainage option is selected to allow automated water runoff, avoiding root rot and preventing freeze-expansion hull damage in freezing winter conditions. Shipping, Returns, & Warranty Guidelines Handcrafted Production Lead Times: Because each premium fiberglass container is custom painted-to-order and hand-cured to fulfill your exact finishing specifications, this product carries a strict manufacturing lead time of 5 to 7 business days prior to final warehouse logistics dispatch. Comprehensive 3-Year Protection: Every container carries a robust 3-year limited structural warranty from the time of product acceptance, protecting your luxury investment against manufacturing defects in workmanship or core materials. *Mishandling, impact abuse, or storing units inside wet, steamy cartons voids protection. Palletized Heavy LTL Freight Logistics: Due to the wide 24-inch architectural dimensions of the Granada 36" series, orders are wrapped securely, padded, and strapped flat onto heavy wooden pallets to safeguard transit integrity via heavy freight trucks. Delivery truck logistics require a standard commercial loading dock or forklift; residential freight options require specialized carrier surcharges and liftgate amenities. Custom Paint Return Policy: Because every Granada unit is hand-painted and finished to order to match your personalized aesthetic, these custom planters are classified as **non-returnable and non-exchangeable**. Standard un-drilled stock items returned with written authorization are subject to original shipping assessments and up to a 30% factory restocking fee, issued as store merchandise credit. Frequently Asked Questions Why choose the wide 24" x 24" profile on the Granada planter for high-wind environments? The 24-inch width paired with a matching 24-inch height creates a perfectly square cross-section, establishing a low, stouter center of gravity compared to taller, slimmer troughs. When filled with standard landscape soils and heavy vegetation, it transitions into an immovable structural block. This exceptional grounding baseline ensures it completely resists tipping over, even when holding top-heavy privacy screens against intense wind gusts on exposed rooftops or coastal plazas. What types of plants perform best inside this 36-inch model? The Granada's extensive interior cavity easily supports substantial root packages. It serves as an elite foundation for structural greenery like trimmed boxwoods, dense timber bamboo, and Italian cypress walls. It also effortlessly accommodates mature, small ornamental trees (such as patio olive trees and Japanese maples), large indoor tropical foliage (fiddle leaf figs, monstera deliciosa), or expanding layers of colorful seasonal annuals and aromatics (lavender, rosemary, sage). Will the custom automotive paint finish peel or blister if exposed to sub-zero winter temperatures? No. Jay Scotts implements a top-tier automotive liquid coating system that chemically bonds straight into the raw fiberglass composite shell. This marine-grade topcoat resists severe freeze-thaw cycles and boiling summer heat waves without bubbling, cracking, turning yellow, or flaking. For outdoor environments, always ensure you select the "Pre-Drilled" drainage model so water can continuously escape rather than forming expanding ice blocks inside the basin core. What critical steps should I take immediately upon unboxing my freight order? Because the automotive finish is freshly cured shortly before logistics packaging, we highly recommend unpacking the container from its protective pallet and cardboard wrap immediately upon receipt. Allow the planter box to experience natural open air circulation to completely finish normalizing the fresh coat of paint, and handle the unibody edges with clean hands during your initial layout installation.
