It provides smooth, controlled polishing and a clean refined edge. Natural stones do not have a fixed grit rating, but jasper typically performs in the range of approximately 8000–10000 JIS, depending on density and lapping. Steel Compatibility Suitable for carbon, stainless, Damascus, high-speed, and powder steels up to 63 HRC.
