More About Jasmine Yin Cloud Jasmine tea is closely associated with the city of Fuzhou in China. The jasmine flower is considered one of the holy flowers in Buddhism, and has religious and cultural significance throughout Asia. To produce jasmine green tea, tea harvested and processed in the spring and early summer is stored until the jasmine flowers are in bloom, usually around mid to late summer. These tea leaves are scented by laying a tray of jasmine blossoms underneath a tray of tea leaves overnight, when the jasmine blossoms are at their most fragrant. Jasmine Yin Cloud is one of our most popular green teas. It has a light, mellow body typical of a Chinese green tea, with a wonderful floral aroma. The scent of jasmine is strong without being overpowering, and makes for a delightful cup of tea. Jasmine Yin Cloud is low in caffeine, high in antioxidants, and full of other health benefits, making it a great choice for everyday drinking.
