Jasmine Becket-Griffith - Forever Strange

For the past two decades, fantasy artist Jasmine Becket-Griffith has entranced a worldwide audience with her pop-surrealist acrylic paintings. Exploring themes of magic, mystery, and historical reference, infused with gothic melancholy, her original characters always evoke a sense of wonder and visceral human connection with their trademark large expressive eyes. This volume is an expansive monograph of full color fine art reproductions of Jasmine's recent paintings, and serves as an heirloom tome for lifelong collectors, while at the same time providing an exciting introduction to new fans. Featuring background descriptions and artistic insights from Jasmine herself, the artworks are also accompanied by the poetry and short stories of Amber Logan and Kachina Mickeletto—the artist's sisters—and author Matthew David Becket, revealing the inspiration behind some of the artist's most well-loved images.
