Japanese Short Thread Snips for Sewing – Oxidized 5”

Simple, traditional, and made for everyday thread trimming, these 5-inch Japanese snips keep the familiar form of a classic sewing tool. The 1.57-inch short blade stays close to the work for trimming loose threads and thread ends, while the 5-inch overall length gives a little more room in the hand than a compact pair. Made from blade steel, there is nothing unnecessarily complicated about them. They are straightforward thread snips made for the small cuts that come up throughout sewing, embroidery, quilting, and handwork. The dark oxidized finish gives the steel a quiet, traditional appearance. For makers looking for a classic 5-inch Japanese thread snip with a short blade and simple working character, this pair keeps the choice refreshingly uncomplicated. Made in Japan.
