This cotton thread from Japan is perfect for sashiko and other stitching projects. Made from 100% cotton, the thread is strong and soft with a traditional matte finish. It is similar in weight to #8 pearl cotton. Each skein contains 22 yards (20 meters). In addition to sashiko, this thread works well for decorative hand quilting, visible mending (boro), and hand embroidery. Available in 29 solid colors, as well as variegated colors.
