It has a greater cutting capacity for it's size of pruner. The blades of this bypass pruner are hardened Japanese carbon steel blades that are heat treated for optimum sharpness & toughness. The upper blade is precision ground to give a sharp cutting edge that won't crush delicate stems. The blade also has a telfon coating for non-gumming effects as well.
