Janos Agate, Half Nodules, Rough Rock, per lb

This agate, classically called "Rainbow Agate" for its many colored bands, is mined from Mexico. Janos Agate is actually a lens thunderegg. Traditionally the matrix is hammered off, or cobbled, to reveal more agate. Most common colors are yellow, green, red, or dark blue. Pictured wet. Size range: 1 lb to 12 lbs.
