Janome SewSwitch 30 – Sewing and Serger Machine (PRE-ORDER)

Meet the Janome SewSwitch 30, an innovative machine that brings two essential functions together in one versatile design. Combining traditional sewing capabilities with convenient overlock functionality, the SewSwitch 30 makes it easy to move from constructing your project to finishing your seams, all on the same machine. A convenient function lever lets you quickly switch between sewing and overlock modes, reducing setup time and eliminating the need to move between separate machines. Sewing Made Simple On the sewing side, the Janome SewSwitch 30 offers 30 built-in stitches, including 3 buttonhole stitches, giving you plenty of options for everyday sewing, garment construction, alterations, and creative projects. The Sensor Buttonhole feature helps create the correct buttonhole size each time, while a powerful motor provides stable needle penetration for dependable performance. Sew at speeds up to 820 stitches per minute, or use the speed control to adjust the pace to suit your project. Convenient features including a two-step needle threader, computerized function keys, default needle-up stop position, and a 2-digit LED screen help make operation straightforward and user-friendly. Switch to Overlock Finishing When you’re ready to finish your seams, simply move the lever to the overlock setting. The SewSwitch 30 features a 1-needle, 2-thread overlock system, allowing the needle to be installed in either the right or left position. Adjustable cutting width and feed length provide greater control over your finished seams, helping you achieve clean, professional-looking edges without requiring a separate overlock machine. Designed for Convenience The SewSwitch 30 features a new half-type extension table that installs from the front and includes an openable lid. A detachable accessory case provides access to the free arm, making it easier to sew sleeves, cuffs, pant legs, and other tubular projects. Despite combining two functions, the SewSwitch 30 maintains a clean, refined appearance and remarkably quiet operation. A retractable 8.1″ carrying handle makes moving and storing the 27.5 lb. machine more convenient. Whether you’re sewing garments, completing everyday projects, or want the convenience of sewing and overlocking from one machine, the Janome SewSwitch 30 provides a unique combination of functionality, performance, and ease of use. LCD Screen & Navigation The Janome SewSwitch 30’s bright backlit LCD display with easy to use navigation buttons that allow the user to quickly and easily change settings. The speed control slider makes changing speeds simple. The SewSwitch 30 also features a needle up/down button, easy reverse, and an auto locking off stitch that makes completing projects faster.       Smooth and Comfortable Serging Designed for smooth, comfortable sewing and beautiful rolled hems, this presser foot features a wider tip for stable fabric guidance and consistent stitching. A built-in stopper helps reduce foot tilting when sewing thicker fabrics, while the extended needle drop position guide improves visibility and control. The gently curved tip makes it easier to sew over varying fabric thicknesses, and grooves underneath the foot help prevent fabric from slipping.       Sewing to Serger Effortlessly Easily switch between standard sewing and overlock functions with the Janome SewSwitch 30. Simply turn the convenient lever on the front of the machine to move from one function to the other. This innovative 2-in-1 design gives you the functionality of two machines while saving valuable space in your sewing area.         Convenience Features With it’s built-in needle threader and number thread guide, threading your machine has never been easier! Make sewing a breeze with the Start/Stop button allowing you to sew or wind a bobbin without your foot pedal! Color-coded thread guides make threading the overlock side quick, easy, and hassle-free.     Janome SewSwitch 30 Features: 2-in-1 sewing and overlock functionality Quickly switch between functions with easy lever 30 built-in sewing stitches 3 buttonhole stitches Sensor Buttonhole for accurate buttonhole sizing Maximum sewing speed of 820 SPM Powerful motor for stable needle penetration 1-needle, 2-thread overlock system Overlock needle installs in right or left position Adjustable overlock cutting width Adjustable overlock feed length 2-digit LED screen Two-step needle threader Speed control Default needle-up stop position New half-type extension table Detachable accessory case with free arm Retractable 8.1″ carrying handle Remarkably quiet operation Light weight – only 27.5 lbs Twin-needle capability 2 Thread Needles: 1, installable in right or left position 0.21″–0.28″ Cutting width with left needle 0.12″–0.20″ Cutting width without left needle 0.04″–0.20″ Feed length adjustment Janome SewSwitch 30 Included Accessories: Zigzag foot Satin stitch foot Zipper foot Automatic buttonhole foot Blind hem foot Bobbins Screwdriver – Small Screwdriver – Large Needle set – Sewing Needle set – Overlock Lint brush Soft cover Seam ripper Thread net Tweezers Additional spool pin Spool holder – Small Spool supporter Spool pin felt Power cord Foot pedal Instruction manual Optional Accessories: Aurifil 50wt Quilting Thread Janome Class 15 Unfilled Bobbins – 12 Count Janome Muffling Mat for Sewing Machines and Sergers Maxi-Lock Serger Thread Educational Rescources: Janome SewSwitch 30 Overview Janome SewSwitch 30 Basic Operations Janome SewSwitch 30 Threading – Sewing Replacing Needles on the SewSwitch 30 Janome SewSwitch 30 Threading – Overlock Janome SewSwitch 30 Threading – Overlock Available Downloads: Coming Soon Coming Soon
