Moet Double Rounded Wall Sconce

The Moet Double Rounded Wall Sconce by Jamie Young catches light in an unexpected way. Two rounded glass forms sit against an antique brass plate, their surfaces rippled as though frozen mid-melt. The effect is quietly sculptural, the kind of detail that reads differently depending on the hour and the angle of natural light moving through a room. The glass has a deliberate imperfection to it. Rather than smooth and uniform, the surface holds subtle variations that soften the glow and prevent the piece from feeling too polished or sterile. Mounted beside a bedroom mirror or flanking a living room console, the sconce becomes both functional and contemplative, casting warm light that feels less like illumination and more like presence. What makes this sconce work in various contexts is its proportional restraint. The rounded forms don't dominate the wall; they sit with a certain quietness that allows surrounding elements, artwork, furnishings, architectural details, to remain in conversation rather than competition. The antique brass develops a patina over time, deepening the warmth it casts. The piece can hang vertically or horizontally, which means it adapts to the logic of your wall rather than demanding a specific orientation. This flexibility matters in real rooms where symmetry isn't always possible and where fixtures need to work within existing constraints. Jamie Young has designed something that feels considered without announcing itself. It's the kind of object that settles into a space and becomes essential to how light moves through it.
