Jake Adams Corkscrew Port Pelham Bit

The Corkscrew Port Pelham Bit is designed to offer a combination of precise control and enhanced comfort. The corkscrew mouthpiece delivers targeted pressure for improved responsiveness, while the port provides tongue relief to reduce tension. Paired with the leverage of a Pelham design, this bit is ideal for horses requiring refined balance and receptiveness.  Key Features of the Corkscrew Port Mouthpiece: Targeted Pressure and Relief: The corkscrew mouthpiece applies focused pressure on the bars, while the port alleviates tongue pressure for a balanced feel.  Encourages Responsiveness: This design refines the horse’s reactions due to the texture of the mouthpiece. These contact points support better engagement and connection between horse and rider. For Experienced Hands: Bet suited for skilled riders who have an educated hand. Due to the sharper nature of this mouthpiece, it is best suited for riders with steady hands. Pelham Design Features: Versatile Rein Options: The Pelham design allows for multiple rein placements, offering the rider flexibility in how much leverage they want to apply based on their riding situation. Balanced Leverage: The shanks of the Pelham provide balanced leverage, giving riders the option to gently lift the horse when needed while maintaining a soft, comfortable feel. Encourages Responsiveness: Even with the added leverage, the Pelham design helps horses remain responsive and engaged, promoting better communication between horse and rider.
