True HEPA Filter and Activated Carbon Filter This filter is designed for the Jafanda JF888 air purifier and removes ammonia, mercaptans, and other odors, such as pet odor, body odor, wildfire odor, and cooking odor. The filter contains 3.08 pounds of activated carbon, which is more effective at absorbing odors than other types of activated carbon filters. The filter is also certified by SGS, ETL, FCC, Energy Star, ROHS, and REACH, making it a safe and reliable choice for your home. Removes Odors, Gases, and VOCs The activated carbon in this filter removes odors, gases, and volatile organic compounds (VOCs) from the air. This includes formaldehyde, smoke, pet odors, and other pollutants. The activated carbon is pelletized, which means that it is more effective at absorbing pollutants than other types of activated carbon filters. This filter can absorb toxic gases, VOCs, and odors from pets, humans, cigarettes, and other sources. Customized Filters for Your Home Environment This replacement filter is designed to be customized for your home environment. If you have allergies, asthma, or live in a dusty home, you may want to choose a filter with a higher level of filtration. If you have pets, you may want to choose a filter with an activated carbon filter to remove odors. This filter is ideal for new apartments, painted floors, composite wood products, automobile emissions, and unpleasant smells in your basement. Replace Your Filter Every 6-12 Months It is important to replace your air purifier filter every 6-12 months to keep your air clean and fresh. An old filter will not be as effective at removing pollutants from the air. You can also remove the filter cover and vacuum the pre-filter monthly to remove hair, fibers, and lint. This will extend the life of your filter and improve its filtration efficiency. Performance & Safety This filter is certified by SGS, ETL, FCC, Energy Star, ROHS, and REACH, making it a safe and reliable choice for your home. The filter is also zero ozone, meaning that it does not produce ozone gas, which can be harmful to your health.
