JAE SLOW TWIST PELHAM

The Single Joint Slow Twist Pelham Bit combines a single joint mouthpiece with a slow twist design, creating additional control points, while the Pelham design offers flexible leverage. This bit is ideal for stronger horses that require more precise guidance and control, especially for riders seeking a bit with multiple rein options to adjust leverage.  Key Features of the Slow Twist Mouthpiece: Enhanced Pressure Distribution: The slow twist design applies pressure on the bars and tongue, providing the rider with additional control through increased contact points, making it effective for horses that resist smoother mouthpieces.  Defined Signaling: The gradual twist along the mouthpiece allows for clear, controlled signals, which can help sharpen a horse’s response to rein aids, encouraging quicker reactions.  Recommended for Experienced Hands: This design is best suited for skilled riders who can handle the added control carefully, allowing for precise communication without overwhelming the horse.  Single Joint Features: Focused Contact: The single joint design concentrates pressure on the tongue and bars, creating clear communication between the horse and rider. Direct Function: This bit’s simple, direct action is ideal for horses that respond well to straightforward cues.  Supports Engagement: With clear signals, the single joint encourages horses to stay focused on the rider’s aids, enhancing responsiveness and connection.  Pelham Design Features: Versatile Rein Options: The Pelham design allows for multiple rein placements, offering the rider flexibility in how much leverage they want to apply based on their riding situation. Balanced Leverage: The shanks of the Pelham provide balanced leverage, giving riders the option to gently lift the horse when needed while maintaining a soft, comfortable feel. Encourages Responsiveness: Even with the added leverage, the Pelham design helps horses remain responsive and engaged, promoting better communication between horse and rider.
