JAE LOCKING ELLIPTICAL LOOSE RING

The Locking Elliptical Loose Ring Bit combines a double-jointed elliptical mouthpiece with a locking mechanism to enhance stability and comfort. This design ensures consistent pressure distribution, reducing the nutcracker effect of traditional bits. The loose ring allows for flexibility, encouraging relaxation and responsiveness, making this bit ideal for most horses. Key Features of the Locking Elliptical Mouthpiece: Limited Movement: The locking mechanism restricts the degree to which the bit can collapse, preventing it from forming a sharp angle that could cause discomfort. This provides a more stable and predictable communication with the horse’s mouth. Even Pressure Distribution: By limiting excessive movement, locking bits distribute pressure more evenly across the tongue and bars. This reduces the likelihood of pinching or causing discomfort.  Enhanced Communication: The consistent action of a locking bit allows for clearer signals from the rider. This facilitates communication encouraging a more responsive horse.  Loose Ring Design Features: Increased Flexibility: The loose ring design allows the bit rings to move independently, minimizing pressure on the horse’s mouth and encouraging relaxation. Adaptive Control: The strength and effectiveness of the bit vary depending on factors such as material, thickness, and overall design. Pinch Prevention: For horses with sensitive mouth corners, rubber bit rings can be added to prevent pinching and increase comfort.
