JAE DOUBLE JOINTED WHISTLE MOUTH LOOSE RING

The Double Jointed Whistle Mouth Loose Ring Bit combines the moisture promoting whistle mouthpiece with the flexibility of a double joint and the mobility of loose ring cheeks. The double joint reduces palate pressure, while the loose rings increase movement to encourage suppleness and prevent the horse from fixing against the contact. This bit is well-suited for horses that benefit from a lighter and more elastic connection. Key Features of the Whistle Mouth Mouthpiece : Perforated mouthpiece design : The holes in the whistle mouthpiece stimulate salivation and keep the mouth moist, encouraging the horse to stay relaxed and more responsive to the rider’s contact. Adaptable construction : Available in straight, curved, or jointed styles, the action of the mouthpiece changes with the cheekpiece it is paired with, ranging from mild snaffle applications to stronger leverage settings. Effective for heavier horses : Frequently used on horses that lean or feel strong in the hand, as the design helps maintain engagement and allows the rider to achieve clearer influence without constant pressure. Double Jointed Features : Even Pressure Distribution : The two joints with a center link reduce palate pressure and distributes contact more evenly across the tongue, bars, and corners of the mouth. Tongue Pressure Variation : The size and shape of the center link influence how much tongue pressure is applied, making it adaptable for horses with different mouth conformations. Greater Mobility : The design allows the mouthpiece to move more freely than a single joint, improving comfort and reducing resistance in many horses. Loose Ring Design Features : Increased Flexibility : The loose ring design allows the bit rings to move independently, minimizing pressure on the horse’s mouth and encouraging relaxation. Adaptive Control : The strength and effectiveness of the bit vary depending on factors such as material, thickness, and overall design. Pinch Prevention : For horses with sensitive mouth corners, rubber bit rings can be added to prevent pinching and increase comfort.
