JAE CURB CHAIN PELHAM

The Curb Chain Pelham Bit features a fully mobile stainless steel chain mouthpiece that discourages leaning or bracing. Pelham cheekpieces provide leverage options, offering curb and poll pressure when needed while maintaining steady contact. Ideal for horses that lean on the bit and require support with head carriage while maintaining clear, consistent rein contact. Key Features of the Curb Chain Mouthpiece : Fully Mobile Chain : The interlinked stainless steel chain moves freely over the tongue and bars, allowing the mouthpiece to adapt to the horse’s natural movements. Even Pressure Distribution : With no joints or ports, pressure is spread across the tongue and bars, reducing concentrated points and encouraging lighter, more responsive contact. Discourages Bracing : The design makes it difficult for horses to lean or take hold of the bit, helping maintain attentiveness and a soft, steady connection. Pelham Design Features : Versatile Rein Options : The Pelham design allows for multiple rein placements, offering the rider flexibility in how much leverage they want to apply based on their riding situation. Balanced Leverage : The shanks of the Pelham provide balanced leverage, giving riders the option to gently lift the horse when needed while maintaining a soft, comfortable feel. Encourages Responsiveness : Even with the added leverage, the Pelham design helps horses remain responsive and engaged, promoting better communication between horse and rider.
