Jacques Herbin Brass Wax Seal Stamp with Wood Handle

The Jacques Herbin Wax Sealing Stamp features a solid brass round seal with a wooden handle and an old-style script letter design. It is designed for sealing letters, invitations, and personal correspondence with a traditional wax seal. We’re pleased to carry a selection from the oldest pen ink manufacturer and maker of stationery goods, still produced in France since the 1600s. We say lean into the romance! In an age of texts, emails, and messages sent in an instant, there’s something new about putting pen to paper, practicing the lost art of penmanship, choosing your words, and even finishing it all with a wax seal.  It conjure images of some of our favorite garden figures keeping journals, sketching plans and exchanging letters with fellow gardeners, sometimes lovers. We can go on! Made in France
