Jacques Herbin Goose Quill Historical Writing Set

The Goose Quill Historical Writing Set includes a natural goose quill, a sheet of parchment, and a 10 ml bottle of blue calligraphy ink. It offers a simple way to experience the traditional tools and materials of handwritten correspondence from another time. We’re pleased to carry a selection from the oldest pen ink manufacturer and maker of stationery goods, still produced in France since the 1600s. We say lean into the romance! In an age of texts, emails, and messages sent in an instant, there’s something new about putting pen to paper, practicing the lost art of penmanship, choosing your words, and even finishing it all with a wax seal.  It conjure images of some of our favorite garden figures keeping journals, sketching plans and exchanging letters with fellow gardeners, sometimes lovers. We can go on! Made in France
