Jackpot 2 LS EFI System - Top End Kit (800 HP)

Jackpot 2 LS EFI System Modern EFI control built for real-world LS swaps. The Jackpot 2 LS EFI System is a standalone engine management system for 1997–2014 GM Gen III and Gen IV LS-based engines that use 58x/4x or 24x/1x crank and cam trigger patterns. It’s perfect for LS swaps or for upgrading and replacing your factory ECU or existing aftermarket EFI, giving you modern sequential fuel and spark control, dual wideband closed-loop learning, and the flexibility to support everything from stock street builds to serious high-performance combinations. Jackpot 2 LS is designed for builders who want the best of both worlds: a simple, guided setup that gets you running fast, plus true standalone ECU control that scales up to advanced tuning when your build demands it. Whether you are swapping a 5.3 into a classic truck, refreshing an LS3 street car, or building a track-focused combo with aggressive cam timing and power adders, Jackpot 2 LS is built to keep the install clean, the drivability strong, and the control in your hands. At the heart of the system is Aces’ 32-bit automotive-grade ECU architecture, built for stable RPM control, reliable input and output handling, and consistent performance across changing voltage and load conditions. For stock and mild builds, the setup wizard and self-learning fueling strategy help eliminate the intimidation factor of tuning. For serious performance builds, the free Aces laptop tuning software unlocks full manual control and calibration refinement. Gen 2 Platform Advantages Jackpot 2 LS is built on Aces’ Gen 2 ECU platform, which is a major step forward from the original Gen 1 Jackpot. The biggest upgrade is table resolution. Gen 1 used 10×14 fuel, ignition, and self-learn tables, while Gen 2 uses 31×31 tables. That higher-resolution mapping gives the ECU significantly more load and RPM “cells” to work with, which helps deliver smoother transitions, more stable drivability, and more precise control as conditions change. Gen 2 also takes better advantage of dual wideband feedback. Because the system uses two wideband O₂ sensors (one per bank), it can manage learning and closed-loop correction on both banks with greater precision. This matters in real swaps where bank-to-bank differences can exist due to exhaust layout, injector variance, cylinder balance, or other mechanical variables. Beyond mapping resolution, Gen 2 adds capability for swap-friendly features and future expansion. The updated chipset supports the increased table density, includes a dedicated fuel level input (configurable through the handheld or app), and the ECU is boost-control ready at the hardware level (software activation coming via a free update in Spring of 2026). Gen 2 isn’t just higher table resolution; it’s a stronger control platform overall. The ECU includes expanded memory for more advanced strategies, faster internal processing, and improved sensor acquisition designed to deliver cleaner, more stable data under real-world electrical noise. Gen 2 also uses DMA-based ADC sampling for more consistent sensor readings, enhanced interrupt handling for faster response to changing engine conditions, and expanded timer functions for greater precision on timing-critical events. What It Is Jackpot 2 LS is a standalone ECU system that replaces the stock ECU and wire-harness or an existing aftermarket ECU & harness to control your LS engine’s fueling and ignition with modern wideband feedback and high-resolution mapping. It supports true sequential fuel and spark on compatible LS trigger patterns, closed-loop wideband control on both banks, and tunable strategies for performance features like nitrous and boosted combinations when configured correctly. What It Fits Jackpot 2 LS is intended for 1997–2014 GM Gen III and Gen IV LS-based engines that use either of the following crank and cam trigger combinations: 58x/4x crank and cam pattern 24x/1x crank and cam pattern Common compatible engines include LS1, LS2, LS3, LS6, LS7, LS9, and many popular LS swap variants such as 4.8L, 5.3L, and 6.0L LS-based engines. Compatibility is determined by the trigger pattern and engine features, not just the engine nickname, so confirming the crank and cam pattern is one of the best ways to validate fitment. Important Fitment Exclusions This system is not intended to run active VVT or AFM/DOD applications. These must be removed/deleted if your engine currently has these features and you plan to run the Jackpot 2 LS system on it. What You Need for Most LS Swaps Fuel System Requirements The Jackpot 2 LS system operates between 43-60 PSI fuel pressure. Many LS setups run near 58 PSI nominal. Your pump, regulator strategy, and fuel plumbing must be capable of maintaining stable pressure under load. While the system is set up for pump gas by default, it can be set up to run E85 via the free PC tuning software. Note: The system does not support flex fuel, and using ethanol-based fuels may decrease the longevity of certain components. Exhaust Weld-in Bung Installation (for O2 sensors) Dual wideband control requires proper sensor placement. You will need the included wideband bungs installed correctly, and the exhaust must be leak-free near the sensors to ensure accurate readings and stable learning behavior. Refer to the manual for proper installation instructions. Electrical and Grounding As with any standalone ECU, clean power and solid grounds are essential. Many drivability and sensor issues are caused by poor grounding, voltage drop, or noisy electrical systems. The system comes with a PDM (Power Distribution Module) to help ensure proper grounding and provides a ground trigger output for your fuel pump and two additional outputs, which can be used for fans. The PDM uses IGBT transistors in place of solid-state or electromechanical relays, which helps to filter bad transient voltage, ultimately providing greater protection for your electronics that are connected to the PDM. If You’re Running Boost or Nitrous Jackpot 2 LS supports boosted and nitrous-capable setups when configured correctly with appropriate sensors and tuning strategies. The system has the hardware for boost control solenoids, which will be unlocked via a future software update in Spring of 2026. This feature requires using the Advanced Tuning Software, which can be downloaded for free by visiting https://acesefi.com/pages/apps. What It Supports (Aftermarket and Stock Compatibility) Jackpot 2 LS is designed to work with common OEM and aftermarket LS swap components (excluding early LS sensors), as long as the combination fits the supported trigger patterns and does not require active VVT or AFM/DOD control. Key Features at a Glance Dual wideband O₂ sensors with dual-bank closed-loop control and learning 8 injector drivers and 8 coil outputs for V8 sequential control Sequential fuel and spark with individual cylinder trims Boost and nitrous-capable strategies when configured correctly (boost-control hardware onboard; strategy availability depends on software/features enabled) 2.7-bar MAP sensor capability for enhanced applications when configured appropriately Dual knock sensor control for real-time safety and timing optimization Rev limiter and 2-stage limiter (launch control) Dual fan control outputs for swap-friendly cooling control Supports both 58x/4x and 24x/1x crank/cam trigger combinations Free laptop software for advanced manual tuning and calibration refinement Seamless integration with Aces accessories (handhelds, digital dashes, CAN modules, and transmission control solutions where applicable) Engineered Hardware and Electrical Protection Jackpot 2 LS uses a cast aluminum ECU housing to improve heat dissipation and help shield the electronics from RFI/EMI interference, important on swaps where wiring routes, ignition components, and chassis grounding can vary widely. The system is designed with robust OEM-style electrical protection and stable power handling so the ECU and connected components stay consistent across changing voltage and load conditions. Gen 2 hardware is also future-ready, with provisions for feature expansion such as additional relay/trigger-style control functionality as firmware support is released. Fuel and Spark Control The system supports sequential fuel and spark control on compatible LS trigger patterns, dual bank wideband closed-loop fueling, and high-resolution mapping for smoother drivability and stronger control under load. It includes features that matter for both street and performance builds, including cylinder trim capability, rev limiting, and safety strategies. Ignition Compatibility Jackpot 2 LS is built for precision ignition control and supports 58x/4x and 24x/1x configurations for true sequential control. It is compatible with most stock coils (except early LS1 coils due to connector differences), but for best results, we recommend using Aces’ AC2011 coil packs. Injector Compatibility Standalone harnesses are available in EV1 or EV6 connector formats. Injector selection should match your horsepower goal and fuel type. The Jackpot 2 LS is compatible with high-impedance injectors (only) and supports 8 injectors, up to 210 lb/hr. Cooling Fan Control and Outputs The system supports dual fan control and swap-friendly outputs for clean integration into a variety of chassis. Dash and Gauge Integration Jackpot 2 LS is designed to support common swap gauge strategies and Aces integration accessories, with handheld monitoring and optional app connectivity depending on configuration. Fuel Level Input (Gen 2) Gen 2 adds a dedicated fuel level input so you can bring your tank sender signal into the ECU and view fuel level directly on the handheld display or through the Aces Connect App when using the Bluetooth module. This is especially helpful on swaps where the factory ECU is removed, and the original cluster fuel signal is no longer being driven the same way. Setup is handled through the handheld/app settings: connect the sender signal, select the appropriate configuration method, then calibrate and verify the reading (including optional smoothing/filtering if needed for stable real-world display). Once configured, you can monitor fuel level alongside key ECU data like RPM, speed, voltage, and sensor readings. For factory gauges, most tachometers can be driven by the Jackpot 2 using a square-wave tach output. For broader gauge coverage, the included Aces handheld (or an optional Bluetooth module) can display tach, speed, battery voltage, fuel level, and other key sensor data. All Aces EFI systems are also compatible with Dakota Digital gauges using the Dakota Digital EFI BIM module. Installation Expectations Most installs can be completed in a little over a weekend when the fuel system plan is solid, wideband bungs are installed properly, and wiring is routed cleanly. More complex builds, such as transmission control setups, custom dash integrations, or high-power boosted combinations, will require additional time and setup. A simple first-start checklist always helps: verify fuel pressure, verify grounds and voltage stability, confirm trigger pattern selection, confirm injector and ignition configuration, start and warm up, then allow closed-loop learning to begin. Setup and Tuning Experience Jackpot 2 LS is built to be approachable for first-time EFI builders without limiting experienced tuners. Guided Setup (Handheld or Bluetooth) After the install, initial setup is straightforward. Using the included handheld touchscreen (or the Bluetooth module if that’s the option you choose), you’ll run through the setup wizard and answer a few basic questions about your engine and configuration—things like cam type, ignition/timing setup, and other core inputs the ECU needs to start safely and learn correctly. The wizard process is the same whether your build is stock or aggressive. Where the difference comes in is how far you rely on self-learning. Self-learning is intended for stock to mild combinations and is excellent for daily driving, cruising, and normal load transitions. Wide-open throttle pulls, dyno tuning, and higher-risk operation (especially with aggressive combinations or power adders) should be handled with manual tuning using the free laptop software. The handheld or Bluetooth module is needed for initial setup, adjustments, and monitoring, but it does not need to remain plugged in once the system is configured and running correctly. Think of it as your setup and control interface: use it to configure, make changes, and view live sensor data whenever you want. For stock and mild applications, the guided setup wizard and self-learning fueling strategy help deliver quick startup and strong drivability with minimal tuning complexity. Once the engine reaches operating temperature and transitions into closed loop, the system begins learning fueling in real time. After a few drive cycles, fueling accuracy and response continue to improve, and when you are satisfied with the results, you can lock the calibration. For performance builds, the included USB cable and Aces’ free laptop tuning software give you full manual control, so you can confidently dial in aggressive cam profiles, power adders, and race-focused combinations with complete authority. Takeaway The Jackpot 2 LS EFI System is built for real swaps and real builders. It delivers fast guided setup for simple street builds and deep tuning capability for serious performance, while keeping compatibility and install requirements clear so you can buy confidently and build without surprises.
