Jackery E5000Plus Battery Pack - 5kWh Expansion Battery for Explorer 5000

Need More Backup Power Than Your Current System Provides? You've invested in backup power, but when the outage stretches into day three, you're watching your battery percentage drop while the fridge starts warming up. Your family's counting on you to keep the lights on and the medical devices running, but your current capacity just isn't cutting it. Without expandable power, you're stuck rationing electricity during the times you need it most. Critical appliances go offline. Food spoils. Communication devices die when emergency updates matter most. The Jackery E5000Plus Battery Pack transforms your Explorer 5000 Plus into a true whole-home backup system. This 5kWh expansion module uses premium LiFePO4 chemistry to deliver over 10 years of reliable service, scaling your total capacity up to 30kWh when you add multiple packs. Double your runtime instantly: Add 5,000Wh of clean power to keep refrigerators, HVAC, and medical equipment running for days, not hours Future-proof expandability: Connect up to 5 battery packs for 30kWh total capacity that rivals whole-home battery systems costing twice as much Premium LiFePO4 longevity: Advanced lithium iron phosphate cells maintain 80% capacity after 4,000+ cycles, eliminating frequent battery replacements Professional-grade safety: UL 94V-0 fire-resistant enclosure with ChargeShield battery management protects your investment and your family Seamless integration: Plug-and-play connection to your Explorer 5000 Plus with automatic load balancing across all connected packs E5000Plus Features & PerformanceAdvanced LiFePO4 Battery ChemistryUnlike standard lithium-ion batteries that degrade quickly, the E5000Plus uses lithium iron phosphate cells engineered for commercial applications. You'll get over 4,000 charge cycles while maintaining 80% capacity, translating to 10+ years of reliable backup power without replacement costs. Modular Expansion ArchitectureStart with one battery pack for 10kWh total capacity, then add up to four more as your power needs grow. Each pack integrates seamlessly with your Explorer 5000 Plus base unit, automatically balancing loads and charging cycles across the entire system. Commercial-Grade Safety SystemsThe UL 94V-0 rated enclosure meets the highest fire resistance standards while the integrated ChargeShield BMS monitors temperature, voltage, and current 24/7. Multiple protection layers prevent overcharge, overdischarge, and thermal runaway conditions. See full specifications below for complete technical details and compatibility requirements. Ideal Use Cases Extended Home Backup: Power your entire home for 2-5 days during outages, keeping refrigerators, well pumps, medical devices, and communication systems online when the grid fails. Off-Grid Cabin Power: Create a silent, maintenance-free power system for remote properties where generator noise isn't welcome and fuel deliveries are impractical. RV Extended Boondocking: Extend your off-grid camping from 1-2 nights to a full week, running air conditioning, microwaves, and all your 120V appliances without hookups. Emergency Preparedness: Build a scalable backup system that grows with your needs, starting with essential circuits and expanding to whole-home coverage over time. Business Continuity: Protect critical equipment, servers, and refrigeration during power outages without the noise and fumes of traditional generators. Why Choose the E5000Plus over Standard Backup BatteriesMost backup batteries force you to choose between capacity and longevity. Cheaper lithium-ion packs degrade rapidly, requiring expensive replacements every 3-5 years. The E5000Plus uses commercial-grade LiFePO4 chemistry that maintains performance for over a decade. Unlike fixed-capacity systems, this modular design lets you start small and expand as needed. You're not locked into buying more capacity than you need upfront, but you're also not stuck with insufficient power when your requirements grow. Jackery has shipped over 3 million power stations worldwide, with the Explorer series earning recognition from outdoor and emergency preparedness experts for reliability and build quality. The E5000Plus continues this legacy with professional-grade components and comprehensive safety certifications. For example, if your base unit runs a refrigerator for 24 hours, adding one E5000Plus extends that to approximately 48 hours. Actual runtime depends on your specific appliances and power consumption patterns. Can I add multiple E5000Plus packs to my system?Yes, you can connect up to 5 E5000Plus battery packs to a single Explorer 5000 Plus base unit for 30kWh total capacity. Each pack integrates automatically with load balancing and synchronized charging across the entire system. Is the investment worth it compared to a gas generator? While the upfront cost is higher, the E5000Plus eliminates ongoing fuel costs, maintenance expenses, and noise pollution. With 10+ year lifespan and zero operating costs, the total cost of ownership often beats gas generators for frequent use or extended outages. How long does the LiFePO4 battery actually last?LiFePO4 chemistry maintains 80% capacity after 4,000+ charge cycles, which translates to 10-15 years of typical use. This is 3-5 times longer than standard lithium-ion batteries, making replacement costs virtually eliminated during the warranty period.
