Jackall Lures SlickBait

Boost your bass fishing game with the Slick Bait, a hard lure designed to effortlessly achieve the sought-after "yoko-yoko" sideways swimming action, popular in Japan. While soft plastics are often used for this technique, they tend to need more water resistance to initiate movement, resulting in a slow start. The Slick Bait, with its higher buoyancy, allows anglers to trigger precise sideways movements with minimal rod action, making it ideal for imitating distressed baitfish along the shore without spooking bass.  Equipped with swivel-style eyelets on both sides, the Slick Bait ensures a stable landing position and instant responsiveness as soon as it touches the water. The fins near the belly prevent hook flutter and reduce line tangles during casting, keeping your presentation clean and effective. Switch between Hard Lures and Yoko-Yoko Soft Plastics for Versatility The "yoko-yoko" technique excels at drawing bass to the surface, particularly in areas where other lures fail. While soft plastics offer a more subtle approach, the Slick Bait brings the distinct advantages of a hard lure—quick-reacting rattles and high visibility. The built-in rattle activates with even the slightest movements, grabbing bass attention with sound, while the lure’s flickering action mimics fleeing bait, triggering predatory instincts. For more pressured waters, opt for soft plastics to present a natural look. When targeting active bass, aiming for reaction bites, or covering more water to attract fish from a distance, the Slick Bait is your go-to solution. Tail and Skirt Movement to Maximize Bites The Slick Bait’s soft elastomer tail mimics the darting movement of baitfish, while its premium skirt adds resistance to create enticing drifts and vibrations. Together, these elements generate lifelike movement and subtle water disturbance, provoking bass into striking even when they might be wary of hard lures. With the Slick Bait, you can switch between techniques and adapt to every situation on the water—perfect for targeting bass with precision and versatility.   Weight: 15g (1/2 oz)     Length: 120mm (4.75in)       Type: Floating
