Jack Daniel's Master Distiller Series No. 5 Frank Bobo Tennessee Whiskey 750ml

Jack Daniel's Master Distiller Series No. 5 is the fifth release in one of the brand's most collectible limited edition series, honoring Frank Thomas Bobo, the fifth man ever to serve as Master Distiller at the legendary Jack Daniel Distillery in Lynchburg, Tennessee. Bobo held the role for more than two decades, from 1966 to 1988, one of the longest tenures in the distillery's history, and he oversaw the continuing meteoric rise of Jack Daniel's into the global powerhouse it is today. Released in October 2016 as part of a six bottle series produced between 2012 and 2017, each edition pays tribute to a different Master Distiller in the distillery's long history. Every bottle is individually numbered and presented in a handsome collectible box bearing Bobo's portrait, and the boxes across the series were designed so that, placed side by side, their artwork connects into a continuous panoramic image, a detail prized by collectors. Inside is the classic charcoal mellowed Tennessee whiskey known the world over, filtered drop by drop through sugar maple charcoal in the signature Lincoln County Process and aged in handcrafted new American oak. Bottled at a smooth, approachable 86 proof, it offers the familiar Jack Daniel's character with sweet vanilla, caramel, toasted oak, banana milkshake, roasted nuts, and a whisper of smoke. As part of a now discontinued series, the No. 5 is a genuine piece of American whiskey history and a rewarding addition to any Jack Daniel's collection. Enjoy it neat, on the rocks, in a cocktail, or simply on display.
