If you're ever in need of motivation to head to the airport and bore some holes in the sky, Sam Lyons' J3 Morning delivers all the inspiration you could ever require - and then some! With this scintillating 16" x 20" rendition, Lyons returns to his favorite muse, the venerable Piper J-3 Cub, which sits in a sun-pierced hangar awaiting the arrival of its owner. In this head-on vantage point, Lyons flawlessly replicates all the intricacies found on the genuine article, and his brilliant use of contrasting light further brings out the radiant glow of the iconic little taildragger. This image is available as both an Artist Proof (limited to 40) and a signed & numbered Limited Edition print (limited to 400). Both versions are printed on acid-free paper, utilize first-rate permanent inks, and include a Certificate of Authenticity. Giclee Prints on Canvas (limited to 25) are also offered. A superb depiction of an exemplary GA superstar that's sure to inspire its fair share of onlookers to head to the hangar at the earliest opportunity.
