J. Herbin Eclat de Saphir (Sapphire Blue) Bottled Ink and Cartridges

In the year 1700, M. Herbin created The "Jewel of Inks" in his little shop on the Rue des Fosses Saint-Germain in Paris. The J. Herbin brand is therefore the oldest name in fine pen inks in the world. J. Herbin inks are pH Neutral and are comprised of All Natural dyes in their fountain pen inks. This natural composition and delicate balance of ingredients is the essence of any fine ink. "Eclat de Saphir" is reminiscent of the rich hues of sapphire and is a reminder of J. Herbin's work at the most prestigious royal courts of Europe. The J. Herbin ink cartridges are made for fountain pens and rollerballs. These standard short, "Snap in" universal cartridges fit most fountain pens or rollerballs. (Does not fit Sheaffer, Parker, Lamy, A.T. Cross, Pilot, Namiki, Sailor, Platinum or Aurora). Six cartridges are neatly and securely packed in cylindrical metal tins. Please note that ink color swab depicted on our item listing image is for reference only. The actual color of the ink may be subject to variations in manufacturing and computerized scanning quality of the sample.
