Exquisite handmade art tile from local tile studio Pratt & Larson featuring a lovely, low profile linen shade that elegantly diffuses light in all directions and highlights the beautiful dimensional texture and artisan glaze. Drawing inspiration from northwest regional sculptors from the 1960s & 70s, this original design was carved by Pratt & Larson owner Belle Iskowitz. Her design features a rhythmic linear texture that allows glazes to pool and accentuate the design. Art tiles from Pratt & Larson feature glazes that will flow and pool in the texture of the tile adding to their depth of character. Since variations and imperfections are inherent to the artisan process, no two tiles are exactly the same. Custom Pratt & Larson glazes are available by special order for commercial projects.
