Projecting out from the back of the door, usually at the bottom or top of door face, a roller bumper like the IVES RB471 is a must have when doors meet each other at an approximate right angle as indicated in above diagram. Everybody has seen what happens when people are in a hurry, or the wind gusts, and two doors slam together. The doors get scratched and damaged, and the door hardware gets beat up. Roller bumpers are an important protective door hardware accessory.
