This equipment helps crews manage crowded structures and maintain safer working distances while servicing components such as insulators or conductors. Each arm measures 72 inches long with a 2.5 inch diameter fiberglass body. The dual crossarm bracket system mounts to crossarms up to 6 inches by 6 inches, while wire holders support conductors up to 1.6 inches in diameter and vertical loads up to 200 pounds. A QR code provides quick mobile access to manuals and instructions for reference in the field. These hot arms come in handy when crews need additional workspace around energized structures. This setup is particularly useful during maintenance in congested areas where conductors must be repositioned briefly to complete repairs or component replacements. Fiberglass construction supports utility line work applications while bronze eye bolts provide reliable attachment points. The 15kV configuration on these temporary crossarm extensions can be upgraded to a higher rating by adding insulators, offering flexibility depending on job requirements. The mounting system allows quick installation, helping crews position conductors efficiently when performing temporary adjustments on distribution lines. An optional retrofit kit helps protect fiberglass crossarms during installation by preventing eye bolts from penetrating the crossarm material. A parts diagram is also available to help identify replacement components or add-on parts when needed. Designed to support field operations with straightforward installation and adaptable configuration options, linemen can rely on the Slingo 2 Pack Fiberglass Extension Arms.
