(6 mm) laser-cut aluminum Laser-cut precision supports a consistent, vehicle-specific fit while keeping added weight in check Vehicle Fitment Vehicle-specific design for Isuzu D-Max Matches chassis mounting points and contours for accurate coverage without modification Mounting Hardware Zinc-coated steel brackets, chassis-mounted, all hardware included Zinc coating resists corrosion at mounting points and included hardware avoids extra purchases Installation Method 100% bolt-on, no drilling required Allows fitment using standard tools without permanently altering the chassis Ventilation and Drainage Ventilation hatches and drain holes Lets airflow reach underbody components and clears out water or debris to reduce buildup Weight 20 lb (9 kg) Indicates the load added to the front underbody when planning installation Recommended Use Cases Protecting front underbody components from rocks and debris on off-road trails Daily off-road driving where minimal ground clearance loss matters Overlanding trips where reliable, low-maintenance underbody protection is needed Situations requiring simple bolt-on installation without drilling into the chassis Frequently Asked Questions What's the best front skid plate to protect an Isuzu D-Max on off-road trails? The Asfir 4x4 front skid plate is built from 1/4" (6 mm) laser-cut aluminum and mounts directly to the chassis with zinc-coated steel brackets to shield the front underbody from rocks and debris. It's designed specifically for the Isuzu D-Max, so it follows the factory underbody contours for a precise fit. Is this skid plate a good option for overlanding builds where weight matters? At 20 lb (9 kg), the aluminum construction keeps added weight relatively low compared to steel alternatives while still using 6 mm material for strength. Ventilation hatches and drain holes also help clear mud and debris that can accumulate during extended off-road use. How is this skid plate installed, and does it require drilling into the truck?Installation is 100% bolt-on with no drilling required, and all mounting hardware is included. It attaches directly to the chassis using the zinc-coated steel brackets provided. Will adding this skid plate significantly reduce ground clearance? The plate is engineered to provide underbody protection with minimal clearance loss, using a vehicle-specific design that follows the D-Max's factory underbody layout. This keeps the fit close to the chassis rather than hanging low and catching on obstacles. What kind of protection does this skid plate offer against rocks and trail debris? It covers critical front underbody components and is built from 1/4" (6 mm) laser-cut aluminum to resist impacts from rocks and debris encountered off-road. Ventilation hatches and drain holes are built in so dirt and water can escape rather than accumulate behind the plate.
