IsoTek V5 Syncro Uni 16 - DC Blocker

EVO3 SYNCRO UNI THE PERFORMANCE SERIES Syncro Uni incorporates unique DC-cancelling electronics that rebalance the mains sine wave on the zero volts line to dramatically reduce/silence transformer hum. This sophisticated product can be used independently for a single component, or in combination with another IsoTek power cleaner as an upgrade and to deliver a fully rebalanced sine wave across all output sockets.     FEATURES  Suitable for all audio-, AV- and network-systems  DC on the mains cancellation  Reduces/eliminates transformer hum by replacing the mains sine wave on the zero volts line Use before existing power cleaners for performance upgrade Fully star-earthed network Multi-strand 6n OFC silver-plated internal wiring with FEP dielectric Use with standard IEC C13 (10A version) or C19 (16A version) power cable 10A and 16A versions with UK, EU, US, AU & CH outlets available   SINE WAVE CORRECTION From a high quality audio point of view, mains electricity needs two factors; a nice 50 or 60Hz sine wave supplied from a very low impedance source, without radio frequency noise. The low impedance makes for a near constant voltage regardless of how much power is used in the surrounding area. In reality we can typically expect around 5% fluctuation. The very low impedance of the mains, which is way below 1 ohm at 50 or 60Hz is not maintained when approaching radio frequencies (> 50 ohms > 100 kHz) and acts as an aerial (antenna) inviting RF noise. IsoTek’s power cleaning circuits are designed to reduce impedance whilst remaining safe as well as correcting well into the audio frequency bands. This is not only a judgment from sound electrical engineering, but it also follows the codes of electrical safety, which are independently assessed.   HIGH GRADE COMPONENTS Every IsoTek product uses the finest grade electrical components, many custom made, using the highest quality metals and materials which are specifically designed for purpose. Quality doesn’t stop at parts but also extends into the PCB designs, which maintain high levels of amperage and extraordinarily low levels of resistance, using up to eight times the general standard of copper prior to pure silver plating. Internal wiring also uses high purity coppers combined with silver plating, with either Fluorinated Ethylene Propylene (FEP) dielectric or IsoTek’s Virtual Dielectric of Air (VDA), where a FEP tube is wound around the conductor before an extruded FEP dielectric protects this construction giving unrivalled performance and the ultimate low resistance, high performance internal power delivery system.   MULTI 6N OFC AG As one would expect, the internal wiring of any IsoTek product is of the highest standard, pure 6n OFC (Oxygen Free Copper – 99.9999%) conductor strands with silver-plating offer low resistance and high amperage. An FEP dielectric is used to protect the conductors as well as giving the ultimate internal power delivery system. IsoTek’s internal wiring synergizes with the range of IsoTek power cables. One critical but overlooked area is maintaining commonality of design and material properties though an audio wiring loom, be it signal carrying cables or your power cable network.   3 YEAR WARRANTY As part of our on-going commitment to the highest standards of customer service, IsoTek offers you the opportunity to extend the standard 2 years product warranty to 3 years, free of charge. Syncro Uni can also be used as a ‘pre-filter’ device that can be used with any power cable or power conditioning system. Housed in a steel and aluminum chassis measuring 215mm in length, 75mm wide and 70mm high. Syncro Uni incorporates unique DC-cancelling electronics that rebalance the mains sine wave on the zero volts line, to dramatically reduce/silence transformer hum; the circuit synchronizes the mains supply to provide a perfectly symmetrical sine wave, which also delivers significant sonic improvement when used with any hi-fi separates. The internal wiring is of the highest standard, pure 6n oxygen free copper conductor strands with silver-plating offer low resistance and high amperage. A PTFE dielectric is used to protect the conductors as well as giving the ultimate internal power delivering system. The internal wiring of IsoTek products synergizes with the range of IsoTek power cables. One critical but overlooked area is maintaining commonality of design and material properties though an audio wiring loom, be it signal carrying cables or your power cable network.     REVIEW & AWARDS IsoTek EVO3 Syncro Uni DC offset blocking device - Read More "The EVO3 Syncro Uni is a perfect introduction to IsoTek, as it offers almost no disruption in your existing system (except for the purchase of a single additional power cord) and offers a noticeable and repeatable performance boost. Who knows, it might be the stepping stone to a lot more IsoTek equipment to shore up your mains…" - Alan Sircom IsoTek EVO3 Syncro Uni – Noble AC current monitor for clean sound - Read More "The IsoTek EVO3 Syncro Uni does a great job as a DC blocker: This ballast ensures that the hi-fi system is supplied with an alternating current that is free of direct current components. The sound chain thanks this with an increase in vitality, clarity and dynamics as well as better spatial and three-dimensional imaging. The system already has this sound quality, but the Syncro Uni makes it possible for the sound chain to realize its potential. For owners of an official but DC filterless power strip or a corresponding power optimizer, the Syncro Uni is a real recommendation as a simple and effective upgrade." - Volker Frech   IsoTek EVO3 Syncro Uni - Read More "Plugging the EVO3 Syncro Uni into my mains wall socket using a supplied EVO3 Initium power cable (HFC 413) and my equipment distribution system into the Syncro Uni, I am instantly aware of an increase in the spaciousness that’s around the instruments. With a recording of Eivør’s Mín Móðir the members of the orchestra appear slightly further apart from each other, the vocals are more lucid and the powerful bass has a more forceful punch, as does the drum thumping throughout the piece. IsoTek’s EVO3 Syncro Uni is a little costly, but is an effective addition to my setup." - Hi-Fi Choice      SPECIFICATIONS CONDUCTORS Silver plated OCC copper conductors DIELECTRIC Virtual Air Dielectric (VAD) MAINS INLET 10A IEC C14 or 16A IEC C20 MAINS VOLTAGE 100-240V MAINS FREQUENCY 50-60Hz DIMENSIONS 75 x 70 x 215mm (WxHxD) WEIGHT 1.1Kg   AVAILABLE INPUTS CONNECTION DIAGRAM
