IsoAcoustics Delos Isolation Platform 2216M1 - Maple

Description Features Specifications REVEAL THE FINER DETAILS FROM YOUR RECORDS Reveal the hidden details in your records with the DELOS platform. Combining the mass of a thick butcher block with IsoAcoustics patented isolation, DELOS provides a low noise floor by eliminating the effects of external structure-borne vibrations. Recommended for getting top performance from your turntable, DELOS can bring out the best in your electronics, too. Turntables are carefully made with extreme precision to pick up the finest details in a record. The stylus navigating the tiny variations in the vinyl’s groves is a delicate process that is very sensitive to vibrations. The DELOS butcher block from IsoAcoustics decouples the turntable from the supporting surface and dramatically diminishes structural vibrations and resonances, resulting in greater clarity and detail. THE FLOATING ISLAND OF DELOS The DELOS platform takes its name from the Island of Delos, one of the most important mythological and historical sites in Greece. In Greek mythology, the windy island of Delos was once uninhabitable as it floated aimlessly in the rough Aegean Sea until the Greek god Poseidon anchored the floating island in its place on four granite columns to provide a safe place for Leto to give birth to the twin gods Apollo and Artemis.
