Islamic Medicine: An Introduction (6th Edition)

About The Book At the heart of naturopathic and herbal medicine lies Tibb, also known as Islamic Medicine. This book, written by a practising Hakim, is the first comprehensive study of Tibb, offering an in-depth look into this ancient system of healing. Originally published in 1986, this 6th edition has been expanded with valuable practical resources, making it essential for anyone interested in natural healing, preventative healthcare, and holistic well-being. The book covers Tibb’s theory of causes, explores its diagnostic methods, and provides solutions for maintaining health through preventative care. Readers will gain a deep understanding of how Tibb balances the body, mind, and environment to promote long-lasting health.
