Iron Soft Chew with Vitamin C

Bariatric Fusion Bariatric Iron Soft Chew With Vitamin C delivers well-tolerated and bioavailable ferrous fumarate plus vitamin C in a soft chewable form that is easy to take and supports absorption. With just one soft chew daily, our iron supplement provides a great-tasting, affordable, and convenient way for bariatric surgery patients to meet their daily iron requirements.*  Following weight loss surgery, patients are at a higher risk of micronutrient deficiencies due to nutrient malabsorption and lower nutrient intake with smaller meals. In such circumstances, incorporating an iron supplement becomes crucial to support continued health and nutritional needs. This vital mineral serves important functions in the body, such as supporting hemoglobin production, promoting muscle function, and maintaining healthy connective tissues.* Iron is an important mineral that is often deficient after bariatric surgery. However, some people should not take supplemental iron. Please consult your healthcare provider about whether you need supplemental iron.  Bariatric Fusion Bariatric Iron Soft Chew With Vitamin C delivers 45 mg of elemental iron, as recommended by the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery (ASMBS) guidelines. Our bariatric iron supplement may also be used by those experiencing iron deficiency anemia under the guidance of a healthcare professional.
