Irish Shield Design, Firefighter Crewneck

Irish Shield Design — Custom Firefighter Crewneck Sweatshirt The Irish Shield Firefighter Crewneck is where the collection's distinctive design identity really comes through. The front carries the Irish flag shield graphic — bold, structured, and instantly recognizable. Flip it around and the back takes it further: your department name is lettered in the green, white, and orange of the Irish flag itself, a detail that sets this crewneck apart from anything else in the Irish apparel lineup. It's a fully custom piece that speaks to heritage on both sides, built on a 9 oz. DryBlend fleece that's made for the firehouse environment. At $24.95 with no minimum order, it's the middle piece of the collection that earns its place. The front features the full-color Irish flag shield graphic — a clean, commanding image that brings the flag's green, white, and orange into a shape with real presence. The back takes the heritage angle further with your department name lettered directly in Irish flag colors, making the customization as much a part of the design as the shield itself. With 40+ color options on the Gildan G180, the design holds its impact across everything from Irish Green to Navy to Charcoal. Built for the Firehouse The Irish Shield Crewneck runs on the Gildan G180 — the same proven station-wear blank used across every crewneck in the Irish collection — with a full spec list built for real use: 9 oz. heavyweight 50/50 cotton-polyester DryBlend fleece — genuine cold-weather warmth DryBlend wicking performance — moves moisture during active wear Pill-resistant air jet yarn — holds its look through hundreds of washes 1x1 ribbed collar, cuffs, and waistband with spandex — maintains shape shift after shift Double-needle stitching throughout for lasting structural integrity Heat transfer label — no irritating tag at the back of the neck The Irish Shield design is applied using Direct-to-Film (DTF) printing, delivering vivid, full-color results — including the flag-colored back lettering — that stay sharp and crack-free wash after wash. The Station Wear Choice of the Irish Shield Collection The Irish Shield collection gives Irish-American fire companies a visually distinct alternative across three garments — the Long Sleeve T-Shirt, this crewneck, and the Hoodie. The crewneck is the everyday workhorse: heavier than the long sleeve, more versatile for station use than the hoodie. Group orders qualify for automatic firehouse discounts, making it easy to put the full crew in matching gear without the budget conversation.
