Ipomoea nil - Cameo Elegance

Ipomoea nil ‘Cameo Elegance,’ a striking Japanese morning glory vine that weaves a breathtaking vertical tapestry from the first flush of foliage to the final flowers of the season. Even before the blooms appear, you’ll find endless excuses to admire its spectacular ivy-like leaves, heavily splashed and marbled in creamy white and emerald green. The foliage alone is enough to make a trellis feel dressed for a garden party. Then, from summer until the first frost, ‘Cameo Elegance’ covers itself in intensely vibrant magenta-crimson trumpet flowers, each finished with a crisp white throat and delicate white picotee edge. The combination of variegated foliage and jewel-toned blooms is pure romance — bold, unusual, and absolutely eye-catching in all the right ways. A vigorous yet manageable climbing vine, Ipomoea nil ‘Cameo Elegance’ is perfect for adding quick vertical color to sunny fences, patio trellises, arbors, obelisks, and large containers. Let it scramble, twine, and trail where you want instant summer drama. Plant in full sun with well-drained soil and regular water for the best show. Generally deer resistant and wonderfully showy, this Japanese morning glory is a fabulous choice for gardeners who love vines with both foliage flair and flower power.
